ATLAS Project has completed its first training on ’The Regulatory Framework and the Harmonisation Process of the National Legislation with EU Acquis’ in Ankara
Training on The Regulatory Framework and the Harmonisation Process of the National Legislation with EU Acquis, has been organised on 9-10 March 2023 in Ankara with the participation of project stakeholders. In the two-day training, Electronic Legislation Inventory Tool (ELIT) developed under the project as a crucial tool to monitor and conduct legal alignment process through gap analysis and gap plugging matrixes was introduced to the participants. Representative of the Directorate for EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a presentation on Guidance on legal Alignment with the EU Acquis. Experience of Romania and Poland regarding harmonization process of the national legislation with EU Acquis is shared by the international experts of the Project. The training has also a practical session dedicated for working groups on Tables of Concordance and Gap Plugging Matrixes for four modes of transport.
Following the completion of the training, the ATLAS Project team received positive feedback from the participants and continues to work without slowing down to complete their upcoming activities.
